Job Description     
The Operations Intern will support daily activities across warehousing, logistics, and systems, gaining hands-on experience in inventory management, delivery coordination, and data tracking. Working closely with the Operations Manager & Country Manager. The intern will contribute to both operational execution and process improvements. This role is ideal for a tech-literate, detail-oriented individual seeking practical exposure to end-to-end operations.

 

Essential Functions           

  1. Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against documentation, and support inventory management activities including stock counts, reconciliation, and tracking.
  2. Support delivery scheduling and route planning to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  3. Assist in tracking shipments, coordinating deliveries, and monitoring key operational metrics such as delivery timelines and stock accuracy.
  4. Maintain and update data within internal systems (e.g. inventory, orders, and tracking tools) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  5.  Support the development and maintenance of basic dashboards and operational reports.
  6.  Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows.
  7.  Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, using data insights and digital tools to enhance operational performance.
  8.  Assist with stock transfers between locations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely coordination.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Customer Experience, Sales, and Logistics) to support smooth day-to-day operations and resolve basic operational issues.
  10. Provide support on ad hoc operational initiatives, process improvements, and systems implementations.


Requirements        

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Technology, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  2.  Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite and digital tools and systems (e.g. spreadsheets, ERP systems such as Odoo, or similar platforms)
  3.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  4. Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  5.  Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  6. Willingness to work both in a warehouse environment and in an office-based setting
  7. Physically capable of participating in light warehouse activities when required
